There’s another Lucca to dig into the next time you’re craving steak. The shortlisted Time Out Riyadh Restaurant Awards 2022 nominee for Best Steak has a second location in Al Malqa now in its soft opening phase. Try the signature steak or go early for the lunch show. Brute
There are many meaty things being cooked up at Brute. The new Ramla Terraza eatery is focused on Argentinian cuts. The venue opened in February as part of the new complex, and it promises to be the choice for carnivores.

Clap is another one of the new Ramla Terraza restaurants. The contemporary Japanese restaurant has a permanent spot in the Saudi capital in the new complex following a popular pop-up at Majdoul Tower for Riyadh Season. Al Fanar Restaurant
The new Emirati and Time Out Market Dubai eatery has officially opened its doors at Riyadh Front in the capital. Yes, that means it’s time to try out some new cultural dishes straight out of the UAE including mixed grills and authentic spicy jasheed or to put it more simply, fish with white rice. Give it a go.

Babu Lal
Can you take the spice? Babu Lal is one of the new restaurants in Riyadh that opened from Jeddah and it’s all about the spice and aromas. The Indian eatery serves authentic flavours, so if you like it extra spicy make sure to let it be known. Cut yourself a slice of fresh naan straight out of the tanoor and dunk it right into a fresh aromatic curry or a colourful tandoori chicken.

Hakkasan
After new restaurants in Riyadh with Asian flavours? Fine-dining eatery Hakkasan is ready for you. The Bujairi Terrace restaurant is focused on Chinese cuisine and serves up a range of authentic eats including the signature Hakkasan Peking duck. From the same team behind Yauatcha Riyadh, the London-based spot is open from 6pm to midnight and requires a reservation as well as a Bujairi Terrace ticket. Slurp up all those flavours.

Hualan is back in the city. After leaving us for a short while, Chinese-focused eatery is back at the Midtown complex on As Sulamaniyah Road and we couldn’t be happier. If you love a good dim sum, you’ll be getting that and then some at one of the new restaurants in Riyadh. Open 12 hours a day, everyday, experience the dishes you’ve probably been missing.

Hustle n’ Flow
Make way. Marbella’s Hustle n’ Flow has made an entrance. Take a bite out of some healthy and wholesome dishes as well as smoothie bowls, wraps and coffee. You can also dig your fork into a chunky slice of French toast doused in syrup. Oh, and if you take your avocado on toast seriously, it’s got a Smash It item on the menu taking avo-toast to a whole new level.

Can you smell the handmade chocolate? At SAID dal 1923, you will. The Italian chocolate shop is here and it’s covering Hittin’s Lumiere spot in sweetness. The Rome-based space has branches in London and Dubai and is set on making its mark in the capital. Enjoy chocolate covered drinks (literally) with a side of cookies or try out some savoury options including salads and soups.

San Pablo
Calling all carb fans, there’s a new Italian spot in town and it’s saying your name. San Pablo is a new addition to Huna Takhassusi’s restaurants that you might want to check out. Angelina
After some Paris vibes in the heart of Riyadh? Angelina is now open in Bujairi Terrace. The venue offers up great views of Turaif. Angelina aims to take visitors back to the 1900 which is when the fvenue was founded by Anton Rumpelmayer and his son René. Tuck in for breakfast, brunch and lunch and dinner. Popular dishes include eggs Benny, chocolate pancakes with whipped cream and croque-madame sandwiches. The signature hot chocolate is not to be missed.

Chez Bruno
Chez Bruno is recognised for its truffle-focused menu in its hometown of Lorgues. The upscale spot has been open since 1983 so we can’t wait to see the dishes it brings to Riyadh. One of Barcelona’s popular pastry shops has now landed in King Abdullah Financial District. Villa Mamas
Bahraini Villa Mamas has branches across the GCC, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and now Riyadh. (There’s one in London, too).
