If you’re looking to ride around the capital, you’ll need a Riyadh Bus Darb Card to hop on.

The new Riyadh Bus Darb Card is one you’ll probably want to keep on hand (or in wallet).

To hop on and off the new Riyadh Buses, you could always grab yourself a standard ticket by booking one on the Riyadh Bus app, or if you’ll be frequently using the new means of transport in the city, then the Riyadh Bus Darb Card is for you.

What is the Darb Card?

The Darb Card is your quick access to the newly launched Riyadh Buses. The card is available in both digital and print form, making your journey in the big green bus all the more easier.

How to a purchase a Darb Card?

Purchasing a Riyadh Bus Darb Card, you’ll need to head over to one of the many ticket vending machines at the selected bus stations or the ticket vending station located on Ali bin Abi Taleb Street. Using the vending machine is simple. In order to set up your new card, you’ll need to choose your language of choice displayed on the screen, then click on e-purse.

How much does a Darb Card cost?

A new card is SAR10, plus, you’ll need to add an additional balance to be able to hop onboard.

Select the amount you would like to add onto your Riyadh Bus Darb Card including SAR5, SAR10, SAR20, SAR50, SAR100, SAR200, and SAR500.

After selecting you Darb Card balance, you can then choose your preferred means of payment including cash e-purse, cash, or card. To use the card, you’ll need to scan it on each bus ride you take.

Other ticket options

You can also purchase a ticket for SAR4 via the Riyadh Bus app. The purchased ticket will be active for a total duration of two hours from first login. You are able to change buses during the give period.

You can also purchase a ticket on the bus by using your card. Forms of payment accepted include Apple Pay, Mada, MasterCard and Visa.
