Turaif is the birthplace of Saudi, and one of the Kingdom’s incredible UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We now have the opportunity to take in its history now since the site has reopened for tours from Sunday December 4. Turaif tickets are now available to book so you can see and discover Saudi’s history in person.

Do I need tickets to go to Turaif?

Yes. To explore the historical site and experience the events and activities, you will need Turaif tickets, also known as a Diriyah Entry Pass. The pass allows you to area and take in the many Najdi-style mudbrick villages.

How much is a ticket?

Turaif tickets start at SAR100 per person with free entry for children under the age of 13.

What will I be able to access with a Diriyah Entry Pass?

Holders of Turaif tickets, otherwise known as a Diriyah Entry Pass, will be able to access Turaif. You’ll also have the option of booking a guided tour of the area in advance.

With the pass, ticket holders will also be able to experience Bujairi Terrace, and redeem food and beverages up to the value of the purchased ticket.

Tickets are available online at tickets.diriyah.sa.

Will I be able to purchase a ticket upon arrival at Turaif?

Tickets will only be available for purchase online through the official Diriyah website so some planning ahead is necessary.

What time does Turaif open to visitors?

Turaif will be open daily. Explore the Diriyah attraction on Saturday to Wednesday from 10am to midnight, Thursday from 10am to 1am and Friday from 2am to 1am.

So, what is Bujairi Terrace?

Bujairi Terrace is a new dining destination located in Diriyah featuring over 20 restaurants spread out across 15,000 square metres. Like Turaif, it officially opened to visitors on Sunday December 4.

Bujairi Terrace offers one-of-a-kind views of the historical UNESCO World Heritage Site of Turaif. Bujairi Terrace and Turaif are are part of the bigger Diriyah Gate giga-project.

How do I book a guided tour of Turaif?

Guided tours of Turaif can be booked either on site or in advance through the website when purchasing the Diriyah Entry Pass. Once you’ve purchased an entry pass, an email will be sent to the provided email address with a link allowing entry pass holders to book a guided tour of the historical site. Select your date and time, then you’ll receive a nother email confirmation with the purchased guided tour ticket.

How long is the guided tour?

The guided tour of Turaif is a walking tour that will last approximately 75 minutes. During the tour, you’ll be able to see and learn more about the historic area and its mud-brick architecture.

Can I change the date of my guided tour?

Guided tour dates can only be changed if you change the entry pass date purchased. This will need to be carried out on the website.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in Turaif. Individual parking is SAR30 per hour while valet parking is SAR150 per hour.
