AB Steak
Can you smell that Korean BBQ? Chef Akira Back’s AB Steak dining experience is one of the restaurants opening in Riyadh soon. There’s nothing like your traditional American steakhouse, but add in a Korean twist and you just might be onto something. The steakhouse is known for its dry-aging room and smokeless grills presented at each table with large cuts of beef and we’re hoping Riyadh gets the same experience. Sharpen those knives.

Akira Back
Pick up those chopsticks, Akira Back is headed to Thirteen Sixty-Four in the Diplomatic Quarter. Get ready for a taste of contemporary Japanese cuisines with a modern take on classic dishes including crunchy beef-filled taco shells, saucy sashimi and caviar covered sushi in Chef Akira Back’s Las Vegas-based eatery.

Altopiano
Bujairi Terrace is welcoming a handful of restaurants opening in Riyadh and Altopiano is among them. Twirl those forks, because the Italian eatery is serving up all things Italian specifically dishes well-known to Southern Italy. Promising to incorporate quality ingredients, menu items include a classic burrata, sea bass ceviche, wild forest mushroom risotto and a traditional homemade Italian tiramisu for dessert.

Amazonico
After Instagrammable new restaurants opening in Riyadh? Amazonico is a jungle-inspired eatery with outposts already in Madrid, London and Dubai. Riyadh diners were given a taste of what’s to come thanks to a pop-up at Riyadh Season‘s Oasis Zone. The permanent restaurant is set to open sometime this year.

Bagatelle
If you’re looking for a place that gives you fine-dining Parisian vibes, Bagatelle is likely the place for you. The French-Mediterranean eatery is coming to Riyadh for the very first time in Laysen Valley. Serving up homemade gnocchi with truffle sauce and parmesan and the milk chocolate pizza with hazelnuts for dessert, Bagatelle is set to be among the top new restaurants opening in Riyadh.

Bianca
Bianca is a restaurant and bakery that will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Riyadh Season’s Via Riyadh zone. The space will offer a fusion menu of Italian, Argentinean and French eats. On the bakery side, expect pastries and organic bread baked daily. Via Riyadh will be one of the permanent zones of this year’s season.

BT Burger
BT Burger will be opening its second branch at Laysen Valley, one of the popular upcoming foodie destinations in the city. The eatery will be one of the new restaurants opening in Riyadh and is known for its signature crispy fried chicken burgers like Fire Taste and Purple Crispy. BT Burger also offers beef selections including a truffle beef patty with a side of French fries or sweet potato fries, perfect for a saucy dunk into the specialty BT sauce.

Carbone
New York’s popular Italian restaurant Carbone is opening its doors in the Kingdom at the new Mansard Riyadh hotel. It’s another one of the new restaurants opening in Riyadh to lookout for, especially if you want to discover more of the flavours of American-Italian dishes. The original Greenwich location draws inspiration from mid-20th century in New York, and serving up delicious food in an unpretentious but elegant setting.

Chotto Matte
When it comes to fusion food, Nikkei might just be the cuisine of the moment. And if you want to sample this blend of Japanese and Peruvian, a meal at Chotto Matte could be just the thing. The international brand has locations around the globe including London, Toronto and Miami. And Riyadh, Doha and Dubai are slated to be added to that list in the near future. Expect stylish décor, plenty of theatre from the live cooking stations, innovative flavour pairings and exemplary sushi and ceviche.

This five-star Chinese eatery will be a new addition to restaurants opening in Riyadh. Opening at the famous The Esplanade complex, Dasha serves modern Chinese dishes accompanied by karaoke performances, so prep those vocals and ready those stomachs.
