If you’re looking to nosh on Nikkei cuisine, get ready because Chotto Matte Riyadh is set to open in 2023 in King Abdullah Financial District.
The London-based eatery will be opening its first Saudi location in the capital in the trendy area, which also has restaurants like Il Baretto, Black Tap and fellow London-based eatery A.O.K.

Chotto Matte is known for its artistic flair in terms of designs with dishes that are equally theatric. We’re hoping to see action at the sushi counter and flaming robata grill, as found in the London branch as well as signature dishes like the misco black cod, tentaculos de pulpo (octopus, yuzu, purple potato puree), sushi, and more.
Chotto Matte creates a unique feature at each one of its restaurants and we hear that Chotto Mate Riyadh will celebrate the city’s love of coffee.
