Consisting of a collection of 21 globally renowned restaurants across 15,000 square metres, the new foodie destination is centred in the heart of the Kingdom’s foundation, Diriyah, the birthplace of Saudi Arabia and offers UNESCO World Heritage Site views of the monumental At-Turaif.
Which new restaurants are at Bujairi Terrace?
As mentioned, the new dining destination includes 21 new restaurants, including award-winners such as Bruno, TATEL, Hakkasan and Long Chim. Other restaurant that you can officially chow down at include well-known names like Angelina Paris, Brunch & Cake, Café de L’Esplanade, Flamingo Room by tashas, Mastro’s, Sarabeth’s, and Villa Mamas. You can also enjoy Saudi-owned brands like GRIND, Somewhere, SUGAR, Sum + Things, Maiz, and TAKYA. Are you hungry yet? Is access to Bujairi Terrace free?
In order to visit the new luxury destination, you will need to secure yourself a Bujairi Terrace ticket also known as a Diriyah Entry Pass to be able to explore the surrounding area to the fullest. What is Riyadh’s Diriyah Gate?
Diriyah Gate is an ambitious $20 billion heritage and tourism project lead by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. The development aims to house 100,000 people and attract 25 million visitors annually.
Other developments in Diriyah Gate will include museums, retail stores, restaurants and hotels, while also standing as an elite hub for education, recreation, culture, and hospitality.

Promising to preserve the past and embrace modernity, Diriyah Gate aims to showcase the culturally and commercially historic area of Diriyah (recognised as the birthplace of the modern Saudi states). The project will also restore and preserve the UNESCO World Heritage Site, At-Turaif, which sits at the core of the development of Diriyah Gate in Riyadh.

Diriyah Gate is a short 15-minute drive away from the city centre. The project will include sustainable, accessible and pedestrian-friendly opportunities for shopping, dining, working, living, learning and exploring.

When will Diriyah Gate be open to the public?
The first phase of the ambitious project partially took off with the official opening of Bujairi Terrace in the ongoing revamping of Al Bujairi District. The new space includes a destination dining hub boasting over 19 restaurants.
The continuing progression of the area will see the development of several parks and gardens and the 144-room luxury Samhan Heritage Hotel, which has been built in the authentically traditional Najdi-style. Start planning your visit now.

What else is coming to Diriyah?
Diriyah is set to be a must-visit place for tourists.
