Jeddah Season COVID-19 Protocol for 2022

To mask or not to mask?

Headed to Jeddah Season? The citywide festival is back and bigger than ever. With 60 active days, and 2,800 events across nine zones, who wouldn’t want to be there? Just make sure you’re aligned with current COVID-19 precautions.

No clue about the COVID-19 changes? No problem, here are all the Jeddah Season COVID-19 Protocols.

According to Jeddah Season COVID-19 Protocols, you will be required to be triple-jabbed (including booster) by an approved vaccine.

Vaccines approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health include Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Janssen, Covovax​​, Nuvaxovid, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, and Sputnik-V​​.

To enter any and all events you must present your Tawakkalna app status, which must be green, showing that you are immune and have received your complete vaccine doses. Masks are no longer required in open spaces like parks, but must still be worn in closed spaces.

This is the second edition of Jeddah Season. The first was back in 2019 and an event was scheduled for the following year but cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jeddah Season 2022 was launched under the theme of “our lovely days” and has nine zdedicated zones. These include Jeddah’s Superdome, Al-Jawhara Stadium, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Pier, Prince Majid Park, City Walk and Al-Balad.
