We’ll get to hashing out the finer details once we know what is Jeddah Season exactly. If you are a Saudi citizen or resident, it is likely that you heard of or even went to Riyadh Season, which means comprehending Jeddah Season will be a cakewalk for you – same vibe, newer events and a new KSA city. If you are new to Saudi Arabia, are a visitor, or are looking for a reason to plan a trip to Jeddah, then this is it.

Jeddah Season is a citywide art, culture and entertainment festival. It promises 2,800 events over the course of two months, starting from Monday May 2. Similar to Riyadh Season, Jeddah Season will be divided into nine dedicated zones.

Jeddah Season is also part of the countrywide Saudi Seasons festival initiative, which includes Sharqiyah Season in March and Riyadh Season in November. Riyadh Season launched in 2019 and is the biggest festival of its kind in the Middle East.

Where is Jeddah Season 2022?

The nine zones of the festival spread across Jeddah are Jeddah’s Superdome, Al-Jawhara Stadium, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Pier, Prince Majid Park, City Walk and Al-Balad. So, it’s a one-festival-various-venues kind of event and gives you a chance to explore the Red Sea city.

What’s happening at Jeddah Season 2022?

Like we said, the stellar Jeddah Season festival will be split into nine zones across the city, which will make it much easier to navigate and plan your way around it.

The event list so far has firework displays on Jeddah’s promenade, K-pop performances, a science festival, and a performance from Fuzion by Cirque du Soleil curated especially for Jeddah Season on the agenda. You can also expect concerts and plays performed by Arab and international theatre companies.

The Jeddah Jungle zone will be home to the Kingdom’s biggest zoo, the City Walk zone will be hosting a huge comic-con event for anime-lovers, and Prince Majid Park will hold weekly bazaars, art exhibits and a fair. And that’s just the start of exciting things to come at Jeddah Season 2022.

What is special about Jeddah Season 2022?

Under the theme of “our lovely days,” the new Jeddah Season identity expresses and aims to showcase cultural diversity, global openness, and a blend of fun and entertainment.
