The season we’ve all been waiting for is almost here. Riyadh Season 2022 promises to bring with it some amazing events and activities including 15 zones. If you’re wondering if there are any free Riyadh Season zones, you’ll be happy to know that the festive event will offer three free Riyadh Season zones, so get ready to expect some big things.
Each of the 15 zones will host their own individual experiences and will probably keep us occupied for quite some time. The third season of the grand event will return bigger with more than a few restaurants, entertainment shows and activities starting Friday October 21.
The 15 zones will include Suwaidi Park, Riyadh Front, The Groves, Via Riyadh, AlMurabba, Riyadh Sky, Qariat Zaman, Fan Festival, Riyadh Imagination Park, Little Riyadh, Winter Wonderland, Boulevard World, Boulevard Riyadh City, Souq Al-Zal and Riyadh Zoo.
We know you’re thinking what we’re thinking, which of these exciting zones are free? As mentioned previously, three free Riyadh Season zones have been announced thus far and while things may change in the future here’s the latest on free Riyadh Season zones.
Souq Al-Zal
If you’re one for marketplaces, best believe that this is a local market you’ll probably adore. One of the new zones headed to Riyadh Season 2022 this year, Souq Al-Zal is the oldest historical marketplace in Riyadh holding great importance to the capital. The free Riyadh Season zone is expected to hold musical performances, folklore dances and will combine entertainment and cultural retail in one space, symbolising the spirit and soul of old markets in Saudi Arabia.

Suwaidi Park
Suwaidi Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Riyadh. The space has been architecturally restored with the intent to enrich the parks surrounding area and as a result will be one of the three free Riyadh Season zones. The eventual area promises to host special events and weekly shows. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Qariat Zaman
Put on your comfiest shoes and get ready to head to Qariat Zaman. The free Riyadh Season zone is the second-timer historical village and will offer nostalgic vibes through heritage, culture, cinematics and artistic aspects of Saudi Arabia traditions. The qaria (village) will also be dedicated to a simpler time through the traditional side shops and local food. A true celebration of the Kingdom’s origins.
