Riyadh Season is back.
Riyadh Season 2022 dates have just been announced. The Saudi Season will start on Friday October 21. Yup, things are happening that fast.
Hold on tight because that’s not all. The Riyadh Season 2022 zones have just been announced, and the major festival will have a whopping 15 zones to enjoy.
Riyadh Season 2022 zones
The Riyadh Season 2022 theme is “Beyond Imagination” so we can hopefully expect lots to inspire in the 15 zones. These include: Suwaidi Park, The Groves, Riyadh Front, Via Riyadh, AlMurabba, Riyadh Sky, Qariat Zaman, Fan Festival, Riyadh Imagination Park, Winter Wonderland, Boulevard World, Riyadh Zoo, Souq Al-Zal, Boulevard Riyadh City and 2022’s Little Riyadh.
Each Riyadh Season 2022 zone has a different theme. For starters AlMurabba will be making a comeback, the luxury fine-dining destination will be home to some of the top restaurants around. Prep your stomach.
After more of a nostalgia trip? Zaman Village will be housing all the memories like folk music and more.
Wondering where you can enjoy World Cup 2022? Forget the trip to Qatar if you haven’t secured tickets. The Fan Festival at Riyadh Season 2022 will be displaying the games on these large screens. Grab the popcorn.
There’s also Little Riyadh, which will be located in the Diplomatic Quarter with exclusive café and dining experiences.
Riyadh Imagination Park will be an entertainment destination hosting live shows, restaurants and rare cars.
Sucker for views? Riyadh Sky will be offering stunning views of the Riyadh sky along with international dining destinations.
Via Riyadh will be designed in the Salmani style. The complex will be home to the five-star hotel St. Regis Riyadh, seven high-end cinemas, international boutiques and more.
Fan favourite Boulevard Riyadh City will be a part of the 2022 activities as well, with its many subzones, entertainment areas and more.
Not be confused with Boulevard Riyadh City, Boulevard World will be hosting diverse experiences from nine countries, plus, the largest artificial lake and largest spherical theatre in the world, too.
Suwaidi Park will be inviting you to a wonderful outdoor experience with weekly cultural shows, games and food.
Know and love Riyadh Zoo? The 1987 establishment will be bigger and better, picture 190 species with 1,300 animals in six areas.
The oldest heritage market in Riyadh, Souq AlZal will also be a part of the festivities. Get ready for musical performances, folk dances and more.
Feel the seasons changing? You know what that means, Winter Wonderland Riyadh will be headed back to the Kingdom. It is always one of the most popular zones and inspired by London’s famous wintery festival – minus the chilly temperatures.
Riyadh Front will be hosting everything from gaming challenges to the anime events, too.
Lastly, The Groves will be showcasing local dishes from international cultures in addition to a fan zone for World Cup fans.

Riyadh Season 2022 is part of the Saudi Seasons initiative. The Seasons include Sharqiyah Season in March and Jeddah Season in May and June. The first Riyadh Season was held back in 2019 and has since become the biggest festival of its kind in the Middle East.
Riyadh Season 2021 actually broke four Guinness World Records. These included 100 songs recorded using hologram technology and displaying the largest model of a Formula 1 car using half a million Lego cubes at the Riyadh Motor Show. The Giant Slide in Boulevard Riyadh City set two records: one as the longest in the world, and for the highest number of tracks of its kind in the field of games.
