Applying for a Hayya Card is relatively simple and gives you full access to the country with an added perk of free public transport, including the Doha Metro which will allow you free travel to and from the stadiums.

Wondering how to get it? Applicable to both daytrippers and fans with long-stay accommodation, the Hayya Card is obtainable through the Hayya to Qatar 2022 mobile application or through the Haya Qatar 2022 website.

Another great advantage is Hayya Card holders can visit Saudi Arabia for up to 60 days during the World Cup.

Shuttle flights from Riyadh to Qatar

After fast ways to get from Riyadh to Qatar? Get this, SAUDIA Airlines have launched FIFA World Cup 2022 shuttle flights allowing fans to climb aboard to make it in time for their match and head back to any country in the GCC within 24 hours.

The airline will offer 40 daily flights starting Sunday November 20. SAUDIA shuttle flight tickets will be given to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ticket holders and Hayya Card holders, and attendees should ensure that they arrive five to six hours before kick-off.

How much are SAUDIA World Cup shuttle flights from Riyadh to Qatar?

Booking are currently available with ticket prices starting at SAR1,275. Checked baggage will not be allowed on SAUDIA World Cup shuttle flights from Riyadh to Qatar. Passengers will be allowed a single carry-on bag not exceeding seven kilograms for economy class and up to 12 kilograms for business class.

How long is a shuttle flight from Riyadh to Qatar?

Travelling from Riyadh to Qatar by road

Not one for planes? if you’re looking to make a road trip out of it, you can travel from Riyadh to Qatar by road. But, you will need to leave your car at a park and ride facility at the Qatar border. According to our sister site Hotelier, football fans driving from neighbouring countries, like Saudi, to attend the World Cup 2022 matches in Qatar will have to leave their vehicles at a park and ride facility in Abu Samra.

A pre-booking system for parking at the border will be available from Saturday October 15, 2022.

The road journey from Riyadh to Qatar is approximately 600 kilometres and takes a total of six to seven hours.

You will still be required to have a Hayya Card when making a road journey to Qatar.

Careem World Cup taxis

Careem is also launching a World Cup taxi service. The set-price journey is from Dammam to Qatar and the ride will cost you SAR1,000 taxi ride to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. There can be no last-minute preparation for this one since rides must be reserved one day in advance.
