Back in August, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Hayya Card holders would be able to visit Saudi Arabia while in the region.
And now the platform for applying for an electronic visa to enter the Kingdom has opened – and it won’t cost you a thing.
Fans attending the World Cup will be able to visit the Kingdom from ten days before the tournament starts up until the end of December, with a total stay of up to 60 days.
It will be a multiple entry visa, too, so you’ll be able to start your GCC trip in Saudi, pop over to Qatar for a World Cup match, then come back to explore more of the sights.

Don’t forget, there will be 60 flights a day taking spectators to and from Qatar on World Cup shuttle flights from Riyadh and Jeddah, so staying in Saudi Arabia throughout the tournament could be the perfect option for you.
The Hayya Card is compulsory for everyone planning on attending a World Cup match, whether citizen, resident or tourist.
Tourists will be able to use it for their entry into Qatar, but the card has a number of other benefits, including free match day travel on the Doha Metro.
