Start those engines. Diriyah Formula E World Championship 2023 is heading back to Saudi Arabia for season nine of the speedy event. What’s more, you can get tickets now.
The Diriyah Formula E World Championship 2023 is taking place at the UNESCO World Heritage Site and historical town of Diriyah in Riyadh from Friday January 27 until Saturday January 28.
You can now grab tickets to the speed-driven event on diriyahseason.sa. General admission tickets start at SAR100 for one day and SAR170 for a two-day pass, while grandstand tickets are available for SAR150 for one day and SAR255 for two days.
All tickets provide access to the Diriyah Village, Formula E Village and concerts. Grandstand tickets also include race grandstands access, as expected. Martin Garrix was recently announced as one of the Diriyah ePrix concert performers.
The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season 9 calendar is expected to start in Mexico City before heading to Diriyah for the second and third rounds. The season 9 will also feature a stop in Cape Town for the first time as well as rounds in Rome and Monaco before ending in London. Zoom, zoom.

Wondering what’s the difference between Formula E and Formula 1? Formula E is an all-electric racing event that uses electric racecars while Formula 1 includes hybrid racers with internal combustion engines powered by fuel.
Diriyah Formula E World Championship 2023 was previously held in the capital earlier this year at Diriyah E-Prix. The previous edition of the event took place across a 2,495 kilometre circuit with 21 turns.
We’re expectng the event to return bigger and better than before with added twists and turns in the road. Similarly, we’re anticipating some major shows given James Blunt and Wyclef Jean performed at the 2021 Diriyah E-Prix.
In other exciting news, Diriyah Season 2022 is on now with the Spanish Cup and Italian Cups delivering more sport to the historic area of the Saudi capital.
