Riyadh Season: 7 things you need to do this week

Top activities and events to explore before the festival ends

Riyadh Season officially ends this weekend. But, there’s no reason to be too sad. In true Riyadh Season fashion, the festival will be closing out with many exciting events and activities all over the 14 zones. Additionally, tickets to Winter Wonderland has been cut to under SAR60. So, let’s make the most of Riyadh Season 2021-2022. Here are some must-try things before this massive festival skips town.

Head down to The Groves

If you haven’t visited The Groves yet, you need to. This Riyadh Season zone is located in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh. It is distinguished by its combination of luxury and picture-perfect nature, so don’t forget to grab a couple of shots for the ‘gram while you’re there. The Groves includes a group of cafés and luxury restaurants that serve oriental and western dishes. And the stores have popular international clothing brands. The Groves also hosts many entertainment events and art workshops.

Explore Winter Wonderland

As we said, Winter Wonderland has slashed its ticket prices. Tickets used to be SAR55 on weekdays from Sunday to Wednesday and SAR110 on weekends, including Thursday to Saturday. Now, Riyadh Season has reduced the prices to SAR55 on all days of the week, including the weekends. The zone will be closing its festive doors after nearly five months of fun. The event opened back in October 2021 and it will end on Thursday March 31.
SAR55. Until Thu Mar 31. Open daily 4pm. Winter Wonderland, Al-Ghadeer, tickets.riyadhseason.sa.

Laugh at the Ramez Experience

Wondering what else do at Riyadh Season before it closes? This interactive experience will allow you to witness a series of funny pranks, which are very exciting. Ramez’s experience will simulate all the different pranks you have followed since 2009, so get ready for a lot of laughter and screaming.
SAR70. Until Thu Mar 31. Riyadh City Boulevard, tickets.riyadhseason.sa.

Shop for Saudi designers at Es’Pace

We love local Saudi designers and culture, and you can explore them at concept store Es’Pace in Boulevard Riyadh City. The boutique has a bucket hut that’s inspired by traditional Shekhal and Shemag. No Bad Vibez is showcasing a cool vintage jacket that highlights street culture in Riyadh, and more. Shop while you can.

Participate in the Squid Game experience

Riyadh was one of the first cities to bring this thrilling show to life in Boulevard Riyadh City. The experience starts off with the soldiers characterised by their red suits and black masks, passing out cards, just like in the show. After that, you’ll be given your green tracksuits to put on and taken to the venue.
Inside the Squid Game experience, you’ll be faced with heart-pounding challenges like the red-light, green-light level, dalgona candy challenge, and a whole lot more. At the end of each level, players that are unable to complete the challenges will be eliminated (which is better than the show’s alternative).
Until Thu Mar 31. Open daily 4pm-midnight. From SAR1,500. Boulevard Riyadh City, tickets.riyadhseason.sa.

Visit Boulevard Riyadh for a fraction of the price

Throughout Riyadh Season, Boulevard Riyadh tickets cost a SAR115 for entry into the New York Times Square-inspired space. Now, however, ticket prices have been cut to just SAR30. Get yourself down there while you still can, Riyadh.

Watch the Biography of Love

This lyrical show is inspired by some of the most famous songs sung by Umm Kulthum, who is one of the biggest names in Arabian music. The background music will be played by Susanna and Majd. You’ll also have an amazing view of innovative artistic paintings. The entrance to the Boulevard will be included and you should arrive a half-hour early. Set those alarms
