Saudi Arabia has made the fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose available for adults aged 50 and over.
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the fourth shot of the COVID-19 vaccine is now available across the Kingdom for people over 50 years old. The Ministry said individuals are eligible for their fourth dose eight months from the time of when they took their first booster dose.

As of the writing, no news has been shared about when the fourth booster will be available for the rest of the population in Saudi Arabia.
The same week the Saudi Arabia fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose for over 50s was made available, it was revealed that the Kingdom had approved the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for children aged six to 11 years old. The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) approved the decision following a legislation passed on Wednesday April 6.
Previously, the Pfizer- BioNTech vaccination doses were approved for children aged five to 11 years old.
