Lace up those skates for the AlUla on Wheels Founding Day weekend.
AlUla is celebrating Saudi Founding Day from Wednesday February 22 to Saturday February 25 with a full schedule.
The first-ever roller skating rink in Saudi will have Cosmicat, BKR and Dorar as part of the afterparty for the Alicia Keys concert.
The DJ Nights event sees BKR spinning on February 23, and Cosmicat, Dorar and BKR on February 24.
You can enjoy two hours of skate time from 11pm or 1am, or if you’re not quite feeling confident to groove on wheels, you can chill with friends. Skates are provided or you can bring your own. DJ Nights tickets are SAR150.
Get out there are enjoy the Kingdom’s cooler temperatures and the starry skies at while listening to tunes at the AlUla on Wheels event.
AlUla on Wheels was brought to the historical city of AlUla by superstar rapper Swizz Beatz and the Good Intentions team. The skating event is at an all-boys school in AlJadidah, and includes live performances, including local and international acts.
Swizz Beatz has also previously performed a DJ set at the rink.
The vibes and music are continuing at the AlUla on Wheels extended event until April 28. The full list of artists has yet to be released so keep it here for every exciting update.

Besides DJ Nights, AlUla on Wheels skating sessions are currently up for grabs for weekday sessions at SAR40 per person. The event provides headphones and skates for the 45-minute to an hour skating showdown (a friendly one) under the shimmering stars of AlUla. Can you say “vibes?”
Between skating sessions, you can enjoy the food kiosks with retro eats. There’s also art and culture events.
If you’re heading to AlUla, the Arts AlUla event is on now with the flagship Andy Warhol FAME exhibition. There’s also Wadi AlFann guided tours, AlUla Cinema Week presented by Red Sea International Film Festival, and a lot more 2023 events.
