Public sector employees will get a two-day Saudi Arabia Founding Day public holiday this year on Wednesday February 22 and Thursday February 23, according to reports.
February 22 will be an official holiday for Founding Day for all public, private and non-profit sectors in the Kingdom. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed the news.
Saudi Founding Day falls on February 22 and it is a holiday that celebrates the rich history of the Kingdom. It only recent became a public holiday in 2021 after High Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal decree declaring February 22 an official holiday across all sectors.
