Gather up the snacks and plonk yourself down on the sofa because the Netflix New Saudi Voices collection is ready to stream.
The Netflix New Saudi Voices collection will be released on Thursday September 29. It celebrates the voices of up-and-coming filmmakers in Saudi Arabia.
The collection will include a variety of genres such as horror, fantasy, adventure, animation, sci-fi and non-fiction (our favourite). The 11 films were showcased during last year’s Red Sea Film Festival as part of the New Saudi/New Cinema Shorts programme.
Arabic films will feature English subtitles so more can enjoy the Netflix New Saudi Voices collection.

If you’re a fan of popular Saudi shows and films like Masameer and Six Windows in the Desert, then you’ll likely want to gather a few snacks and get comfy this weekend because the Netflix New Saudi Voices collection has 11 short films like Hallucinated by Mohammed Basalamh, Whisper Down the Lane by Raghad Albarqi and more.
Wondering what else is in store? Head back into the past and experience what it was like in the 1960s in Saudi Arabia, or zoom straight into the future and let your imagination run right into the Saudi perspective of the 2090s (with the way time’s moving, shouldn’t be too long).
