Whether you’re planning to try out a new restaurant, coffee shop or cool new sporting activity in Riyadh, or you want to travel on Saudi Arabia public holidays, it’s good to know about public holidays in the Kingdom so you can start booking off some annual leave and trips away.

Here are the potential dates for the rest of the Saudi Arabia public holidays in 2022, as well as what to look forward to in 2023.

Saudi Arabia public holidays 2022: Eid Fireworks 2022 in Riyadh

Saudi National Day is the next public holiday in the Kingdom to look forward to. Go green and celebrate the incredible history and culture of Saudi Arabia. This year, the holiday falls on Friday September 23. There has been no announcement so far for off days yet, but keep checking back on Time Out for the latest.

Besides Saudi National Day, there are currently no more public holidays in 2022. In 2023, we can look forward to more time off, beginning with Founding Day. The public holiday will fall on Wednesday February 22, 2023 to celebrate the foundation of the first Saudi state Diriyah.

With extra days off for Saudi Arabia’s public holidays, there’s no harm in planning ahead.
