Adore Saudi Coffee? So do we. The beverage is the heart of Saudi Arabian heritage so when we heard that there’s a free Saudi Coffee Exhibition in Riyadh happening right now, we just had to spill the beans (sorry, not sorry).
The Saudi Coffee Exhibition is on now until Saturday December 31 at Al Masmak Palace Museum.
The Saudi Coffee Exhibition is free and open to all. The event will take you through a five-stage journey, starting from how it’s harvested, processed and roasted right down to the traditional rituals of serving it to the guests. Enjoy exhibits, events and activities and programmes as part of the the Saudi Coffee Exhibition 2022 in Riyadh. Coffee connoisseurs, you best be taking notes.
The exhibition is hosted at Al Masmak Palace Museum, which also happens to be one of the most incredible historic buildings in the capital. The mud-brick fortress itself dates back to 1865 when it was built for High Highness Prince Abdurrahman ibn Sulaiman AlDabaan.
The Saudi Coffee Exhibition at Al Masmak Palace Museum follows a similar free coffee festival at The Arena Riyadh Venue for Exhibitions that happened earlier in the month. Now, the beans and brewing knowledge is continuing at the museum.
It’s all fitting considering 2022 was declared “The Year of Saudi Coffee.” Wondering what exactly is Saudi coffee? You will find out everything at the exhibition, but know it’s the national beverage and can be made with very lightly or heavily roasted coffee beans and is boiled and served unfiltered, black, and traditionally with no sugar.
