One of the new cafés in Riyadh offering boho-chic auras, Lutea Cafe comes complete with dream catchers, paintings, and LED lights throughout the space. Mine Café

We love a spacious café so we’re happy to see new cafés in Riyadh exploring the airy option of enjoy a cuppa. Mine Café welcomes you with wooden interiors, skylights, huge archways, and a separate outdoor lounging area perfect for impressing someone special. The space also has LED “be mine” (stay with us, singles) signs throughout the venue. Sip on the coffee of the day, cortados, and flat whites. After first opening its doors in Buraydah, Mdee has now made its way to Riyadh’s Ar-Rabi district. The dessert menu offers lemon cakes, pistachio, and chocolate and custard eclairs. We’re big fans of tiramisu, so we’re always happy to see new cafés in Riyadh serving it on the dessert menu. Fork in hand, dive into layer upon layer of coffee, cream and cocoa powder with this spot’s tiramisu option. The more coffee the better. Making it even better is the fact that it’s open at all odd hours of the day.

Minimalistic new cafés in Riyadh are on our radar, so when we came across Obly, we had to share. The space is full of greenery (to help you breathe better) with floor-to-ceiling plant walls, wooden tables and chairs, and calming lighting throughout the space, the place exudes calming vibes. On the menu, you’ll find kolaches (sweet open-hole pastry dough filled with various flavours), cold and hot lattes, V60, and Americano.

We love the city and we love it, even more, when we find new cafés in Riyadh that highlight the originality of the Kingdom through its décor and items. For us, the all-wicker chandeliers draw us in. There’s a full wall behind the coffee counter that’s practically made of the stuff. Translating to “scattered” in English, Wather Café is a Saudi-inspired coffee spot. With cushiony sofas, traditional prints on chairs and Saudi coffee (of course) on the menu, it’s a celebration of everything that makes Saudi, Saudi. Embrace the local culture while sipping on regional and international items.

Of the new cafés in Riyadh, it doesn’t get much cosier than COZY. Calling themselves a “Cozy Community & Café,” the spot serves ample desserts, teas, and coffee. Walk in through The Door of Happiness (dessert menu). It features Nutella pistachio cake bites, crème brûlée bites, and more. Make yourself at home on the comfy chairs and wooden tables, and sip on speciality coffees including the cold brew, chemex, V60, and ice drips.
