New horizons are in store. Noor Riyadh 2022 is officially coming to the capital.
Noor Riyadh 2022 will be back to illuminate (see what we did there) the streets of Riyadh on Thursday November 3. It marks the second edition of the art event.

The annual citywide festival of light and art itself will end on Saturday November 19. Additionally, Noor Riyadh 2022 will also be hosting a three-month-long art exhibition which will last until Saturday February 4 2023, and a dynamic public programme.
The Noor Riyadh 2022 theme is “We Dream of New Horizons”, and the festival will be responding to both the metaphorical and literal meanings. It touches on the “distant glow of sunrise or sunset and the shining light of our dreams.” Artists will be exploring the use of illumination and luminosity in their artworks.
There will be four main hubs the festival will be held, these include Al-Kindi Plazas, Salam Park, King Abdullah Financial District and JAX Diriyah.
Noor Riyadh is a part of the Riyadh Art initiative launched by His Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to collectively transform the capital. It’s one of the four projects being developed by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
