Looking to travel from Riyadh or Jeddah to the UAE for Eid? Emirates is stepping up its schedule for Eid Al-Fitr with more options for Saudi Arabia.
The long-awaited Eid public holiday looks set to begin this weekend, from Saturday April 30. Due to high demand for Eid travel breaks in the UAE, Emirates is offering more flights across seven cities in the GCC and Middle East, including to and from Saudi Arabia.
Emirates has added 23 extra flights to its schedule as well as additional seats on their fleet between Thursday April 28 and Monday May 8.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Emirates will add two additional flights to serve demand in and out of Riyadh on Monday May 2 and Sunday May 8.
Five flights will be added from Jeddah, as well as one of the flights being upgraded from a Boeing 777 jet to an A380.
Madinah is going to get four additional flights and those travelling from Dammam can hop on an extra flight on Thursday April 28.
Fan of plane food? If you are getting on an Emirates flight between Monday May 2 until Thursday May 5 you can expect a special menu for Eid.
Chicken gabuli or prawn biryani is to be served up to start, across all classes.
First class and business travellers can expect to delve into desserts like saffron and pistachio cakes.
For those customers lucky enough to be travelling on the A380 in first and business class, they will also be able to enjoy a curated selection of Emirati Eid pastries and chocolates in the onboard lounge. Sounds fancy.
Economy class customers are also in for a treat with soft and crumbly pistachio namoura or saffron cake on the dessert menu.
