It’s not long now until Riyadh Season starts. Things just got a little bit more exciting, however, as we have more details about Riyadh Season opening parade, which is set to be one of the season’s must-visit events.
Kicking off the festival, the parade takes place at 4pm on Wednesday, October 20. Pop star Pitbull has been announced as one of the headline performers.
If you’re one of the lucky people to get your hands on the now sold-out tickets, you’ll be able to watch as more than 1,500 performers join the giant parade in colourful costumes. The much-anticipated Riyadh Season opening parade will feature everything from firework displays to a bike show on Harley Davidsons. Get ready for your close-up, as more than 2,760 drones will be capturing the action.

The festival is set to be bigger than ever and will cover 5.4million square metres and 14 districts. There’ll be a chance to watch WWE Crown Jewel, join an animal safari and learn to fire ammunition at a shooting range.
Riyadh Season opening parade is free to attend, but all attendees must download the Tawakkalna application, which highlights your vaccination status. When attending the event, you will be asked to show your status on the app and check into the event.
