A.O.K is making its first year in the city with a New Year’s Eve in Riyadh event. Make your way to King Abdullah Financial District to enjoy a live band and different stations. There will be two seatings: 7pm and 9pm.

II Baretto
A themed New Year’s Eve celebration? Count us in. II Baretto is having a ’70s-inspired soirée. Starting at 9pm on Saturday December 31, the restaurant will be welcoming guests into a festive ambience complete with disco balls and ’70s style music, courtesy of a live band, as well as a DJ, so you can get groovy. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 920 012 508.

LPM
After a unique New Year’s Eve in Riyadh? Time Out Riyadh Restaurant Awards winner for the Best European restaurant, LPM is throwing it back as we go into the new year with a Gatsby-style soirée. Make like it’s the 1920s rather than the 2020s on December 31. The limited-edition festive menu will still be available via an à la carte, if you haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Put on your feather boa and get ready for 6.30pm.

Milwan
Foodies can dine in style on New Year’s Eve in Riyadh at various locations across the city. Enjoy a buffet at Milwan featuring grills, seafood and a range of interview cuisine. This is a New Year’s Eve in Riyadh event for the entire family. There is a kids’ play area with movies and games. Adults are SAR225 and kids are half price.

MNKY HSE
If you’re looking for a place in Hittin for New Year’s Eve in Riyadh, MNKY HSE is hosting an end-of-the-year event. Head over to the Electric Jungle party featuring a special set menu, and live music. We hear there might also be a jungle involved, given the name. The New Year’s Eve event is SAR700 and starts at 9pm.

ROKA
The Time Out Riyadh Restaurant Awards 2022 restaurant of the year is closing the year on a special note. ROKA is joining the New Year’s Eve in Riyadh celebrations with live music and a set menu featuring signature Japanese robatayaki dishes and drinks. Take your pick from the signature dishes and drinks from the ROKA à la carte or opt for the seasonal tasting menus at SAR400 or SAR 550 for the premium option. Each come with a free glass of sparling juice for the midnight toast. Lunch will be served from noon to 2pm followed by dinner from 6.30pm, with the last booking for families at 9pm. From 9.30pm, the New Year’s Eve in Riyadh event will be for over-21s and with a minimum spend of SAR500.

Sumosan
Welcome the new year at the Laysen Valley restaurant. The contemporary Japanese eatery is ringing in 2023 with a Sakura Sky event featuring a DJ and a set menu. The fun kicks off at 9pm and it’s SAR850 per person.

Yauatcha
Say goodbye to 2022 at the Time Out Riyadh Restaurant Awards’ winner for best Asian restaurant. Yauatcha has a New Year’s Eve set menu featuring popular dishes like a dim sum platter, angus ribs with cumin and garlic, organic red rice with prawns and Peking duck. If you want to get the celebrations started early, you can as the menu is available from Thursday December 15 until Saturday December 31. The menu is served from noon to midnight, and it’s SAR390 per person, with a minimum of two people.
You can join the New Year’s Eve celebration over two days: Friday December 30 at 8pm and Saturday December 31 at 9pm. There will be a live DJ. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 92 000 6555. Why have one celebration when you can have many?
