Vroom vroom, Riyadh. The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is returning to the historic desert grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Diriyah on January 28-29. It’s not just about the races, however, as there is an exciting musical line-up that has been announced and it now includes The Script, Craig David and Two Door Cinema Club.
Previously, Formula E announced Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, James Blunt and three-time Grammy winner, rapper Wyclef Jean for January 28.
On the second day, we’ll have the pleasure of hearing (and seeing) the British superstar, Craig David and world-renowned band The Script. You’ll have heard the group’s heartfelt hits like Six Degrees of Separation, The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, and Breakeven. They’ve had a stellar 15-year career, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us at Formula E.
Following them up will be Nothern Irish guitar trio Two Door Cinema Club. You might recognise their hits like What You Know, Bad Decisions, and Do You Want It All?. They’ve also had an amazing 15-year career and have been featured in multiple movies and TV shows, and we’re so excited to see what they have planned for us here in Diriyah.

The E-Prix is one of the most important highlights in our sporting events calendar and is the perfect opportunity to showcase Diriyah’s position as an urban pedestrian city of the future, anchored on its past as the birthplace of the Kingdom.”
The racing scene here in Saudi Arabia is definitely heating up, as it’s only one month after the historic Formula 1 race took place in Jeddah. We’re looking forward to seeing how the races unfold here in Riyadh.
