Attend the first philosophy conference

Are you ready to question everything? Well, that sounds a little dramatic, but that’s basically what philosophy is. The Riyadh Philosophy Conference takes place from December 8-10 at King Fahd Library. The event aims to open up the philosophy discussion to people of all ages by offering workshops and lectures suitable for every academic background.

Call (or just watch) the Ghostbusters

Getting ready for a complete nostalgia-fest in Ghostbusters: From Beyond. A single mother and her two kids move into a small town and discover their relationship to the original Ghostbusters and find out a secret that their grandfather kept from them all this time. Enjoy the K-pop Ladies Night at Syrup Lounge

Go to the first ever Diriyah Biennale

Held in the JAX district of Diriyah, which is just outside of Riyadh, the Biennale will showcase works from national and international artists who are all responding to the theme “Feeling the Stones”, and the event hopes to create a dialogue around contemporary art.

Head over to the newly opened Lakum Artspace

We love local art, so are thrilled that Riyadh is welcoming a new art gallery. Lakum Art space has finally opened its doors, and promises to be an exhibition space, multi-purpose library, a small coffee shop and a store with art supplies, limited edition books and prints. Enjoy the Ahmed Mater exhibition Prognosis that is currently on at the space right now.

See Lena Chamamyan in concert

While we love Riyadh, we have a soft spot for AlUla. Lena Chamamyan, a Syrian-Armenian singer, is performing in Saudi Arabia for the first time. The performer is bringing her concert The Road to the Sun to AlUla‘s magical Maraya Concert Hall. Ahead of her concert, she chatted to us about her excitement to see Saudi’s people, sights and cities.

The first official skate part of Riyadh just opened up and we couldn’t be more excited. At Saudi Skate Park, they welcome people of all ages and call themselves a new home for street culture. Grafitti artists have decorated the park making this is a go-to hub for cool activities in Riyadh.

Watch Bollywood superstars in the Da-Bangg tour

Bollywood super fans, this one is for you. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be taking the Boulevard Riyadh City stage as part of his Da-Bangg Tour – Reloaded. The Da-Bangg tour will be kicking off in the capital, and it will also feature celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Sunil Grover, Saaie Manjrekar and Jacqueline Fernandez.
