Saudi announces working hours for Ramadan 2023

The month of fasting it set to fall on Thursday March 23

Saudi Ramadan working hours 2023 have been set.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development officially shared the news for Saudi Ramadan working hours 2023.

Government employees will work for five hours during the month of Ramadan.

Private sector employees are required to work a total of six hours.

The Ministry additional advised government agencies to be flexible with working hours depending on requirements.

The recommended Saudi Ramadan working hours 2023 for government sectors are 10am to 3pm.

Entities are able to change the working hours to be earlier or later that the aforementioned option ensuring that it amounts to the given five-hour and six-hour timeslots.

Ramadan 2023 is expected to begin on either Wednesday March 22 or Thursday March 23 depending on the sighting of the moon.

The 30-day annual fast is set to be broken during the given iftar timings after maghrib prayer.

Following the month of fasting, citizens and residents are given a public holiday in celebration of the Eid al-Fitr 2023 holiday. Official dates have yet to be confirmed, but these are the anticipated Eid al-Fitr dates.
