And soon you won’t have to book a flight to make your friends green with envy, because a new resort with overwater villas will be opening in Jeddah.

Expected to be up and running by 2023, Nujuma will be the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the entire Middle East. It will be set on a gorgeous set of private islands, which are part of the Red Sea’s Blue Hole cluster of islands.

Nujuma Ritz-Carlton Reserve Jeddah is expected to feature 63 one- to four-bedroom water and beach villas, a lavish spa, swimming pools, multiple culinary venues, a retail area and a variety of other leisure and entertainment offerings including a conservation centre.

The venue will also have 18 Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded residences, for those who want a taste of the high life all-day-every-day.

Ritz-Carlton Reserves are known for offering a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The properties are usually tucked away in the quietest corners of the world. Currently, there are reserves in Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
