Caravan by Habitas to launch in AlUla in March

The new hotel will feature 22 caravan rooms, and more

Looking for the latest on the ever-growing glamping (glamorous camping) scene in the Kingdom? Caravan by Habitas will be coming to AlUla this month.

The luxurious camping experience will feature 22 caravan rooms that offer a variety of scenic views. The room is equipped with a private outdoor deck, air conditioning and WIFI, a queen-sized bed (or two single beds), an indoor lounge, a kitchenette stocked with snacks, and a private shower and bathroom.

The sustainable hospitality brand launched its first resort called Habitas AlUla in the Middle East at an ancient oasis in the desert canyons of the Ashar Valley. Caravan by Habitas draws inspiration from Bedouins who travelled the land and incense routes.

At the centre of the caravan, rooms are a gathering tent, which will be a communal space for all guests to interact, connect, and explore the glorious AlUla landscape. Additionally, guests can also enjoy amenities like the outdoor cinema, which will see movies projected onto rocks, a desert-inspired jungle gym and even a teddy bear tent.

Caravan by Habitas’ glamping experience will also have performances, interactive art installations, and immersive adventure programming which includes canyon crossing, Desert trekking, Arabian horse treks, stargazing and desert survival skills. Are you ready for an adventure?

Need a break from the outdoorsy experiences? A three to five-minute drive away from the Caravan by Habitas site is Thuraya Wellness, where you will have full access to wellness facilities. There, you can enjoy daily morning yoga, the desert clay circle ceremony, essence-making, and close with candlelit stargazing yoga.

Get ready for some fun in the sun.
