It’s time to taste Saudi flavours at the first Flavours of AlUla festival.
The foodie event is the first of its kind in the historic city, and it’s happening now until Saturday January 14. It’s open daily from 4pm to midnight.
Best of all, Flavours of AlUla has free entry, as well as free parking.

All visiting chefs will be hosting workshops so you can learn all about their specialities.
If you’re after more recipes you can whip up at home, check out the Legacy Tree, where visitors can exchange family recipes.
Workshops include learning to cook with hot sand and guessing ingredients based off of smells. If you want to further test your senses, you could check out the Black Box experience, where you will be blindfolded then get to taste different dishes.
If you’re bringing the family, there’s a dedicated kids’ workshop area where tots can learn all about making honey lollipops, banana sushi, and mac and cheese.
This is just the start of the things happening at Winter at Tantora. The Saudi Seasons event has a pop-up from famous Spanish eatery Mamzel, and the Citrus Festival is returning.
