It’s been a long two months since the announcement of Coya. If the sound of ceviche and tacos gets you excited, you’ll be pleased to hear that Coya Riyadh is opening in the capital. The Peruvian restaurant previously had pop-ups in Saudi Arabia. Now, a permanent restaurant is opening in the Sulaimaniya district, and Time Out Riyadh got an exclusive first look at the new restaurant.
Founded in London, Coya has multiple locations across the globe, including in London, Paris and Monte Carlo.. It has won multiple awards for its venues in Paris, Mykonos, and Dubai.

Stepping into the new venue, you see plush green couches with wooden tables and gorgeous greenery all around. The dining area has colourful seats in colours like blue, green, and yellow.
There is plenty you can take photos of COYA Riyadh features wooden panels and shelves, striking wall fixtures like vintage photos, artwork, and beautiful decor pieces, too.
The menu showcases amazing Peruvian dishes like Lubina Clásica (sea bass, red onions,
sweet potato, choclo or Peruvian corn) hongos (wild mushrooms, choclo, shallots, crispy enoki), and of course the famous tacos, which is available with fillings like salmon, tuna, and more.
After something that satiates your sweet tooth? The dessert menu features sweets like chocolate fondant, coconut, passion fruit ice cream, orange and lime churros, milk chocolate and dulce de leche, and more.
