Eid Al-Adha 2022 in Saudi Arabia dates announced

Eid Al-Adha 2022 in Saudi Arabia dates have been revealed following the sighting of the crescent moon in the Kingdom. It has been confirmed that the first day of Eid will be on Saturday July 9.

For Eid Al-Adha 2022 in Saudi Arabia, Dul Hijjah will begin on Thursday June 30. Hajj will start Wednesday July 6 and end on Sunday July 10. Arafat Day falls on Friday July 8 and Eid Al-Adha will start the next day.

Wondering about days off? The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) announced that the Eid Al-Adha 2022 private and non-profit sectors holiday in Saudi Arabia will begin on Sunday July 10 and last until Wednesday July 13. So, there will be a four-day holiday for Eid 2022 in the Kingdom.

Eid Al-Adha is translated to the “festival of sacrifice” and comes approximately 70 days after Ramadan. As mentioned before, Eid Al-Adha 2022 marks the end of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage carried out by Muslim pilgrims in Makkah.
