Chisels up. Tuwaiq Sculpture 2023 is starting soon.

The popular Riyadh Art festival is returning to the Saudi capital for a fourth edition where we will get to see artists create masterpieces live. It’s pretty amazing to view finished artworks in galleries and public spaces, but it’s an entirely different experience to see sculptors chisel and hammer away live. We will get to see just that at Tuwaiq Sculpture 2023.

The unique Riyadh art event is one of the few where you can actually see live sculpting sessions. There will be 30 sculptors coming from 20 countries, including local creatives.

The theme of Tuwaiq Sculpture 2023 is “Energy of Harmony” and the works will look at the “fundamental characteristic of human existence”. Are you intrigued?

Besides the live sessions, Tuwaiq Sculpture will also have several interactive programmes including workshops, school visits and talks. Who knows, you might just be inspired to create your own work. The workshops are also free.
