Love art? Then you’ll likely be happy to hear that the first Jeddah digital art museum, Borderless by teamLab, is opening in 2023.
Borderless by teamLab will be located in Al Arbaeen Lagoon, overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Town of Jeddah. The new museum will feature 50 artworks in a new installation made especially for Jeddah.
The first Jeddah digital art museum is launching in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Culture under Saudi Vision 2030, Borderless by teamLab will host art based on light, sound and touch. The idea is to offer a fully interactive experience of the art. It also likely promises to be a great place to refresh you Instagram feed.
The new museum aims to bring interactive artworks to the Red Sea city. Borderless by teamLab will be showcasing independent pieces that will move in and out of rooms and operate in dialogue with each other.

The new museum will also feature a children’s section focused on science and arts education. No official opening date has been announced just yet so stay tuned to Time Out for the full details as they come in.
