Watch the Saudi Tour ride into the beautiful AlUla

The tour lasts until Saturday February 5

Two years after being held here in Riyadh, the Saudi Tour is back and bigger than ever.

The Saudi Tour is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race. It was first held in Saudi Arabia in 1999. The tour includes teams from all over the world like Australia, UAE, and Bahrain.

The 2022 Saudi Tour is divided into five stages, and each stage will be set against the gorgeous UNESCO World Heritage Site, AlUla landscape.

The five stages of the Saudi Tour are:

Stage 1: Winter Park – Winter Park, 198km
The longest and most beautiful route of the Saudi Tour brings riders to the front of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra.

Stage 2: Taibah University Abu Rakha, 163.9km

Following many ups and downs in the breathtaking landscapes of AlUla, the pan flat lasts 500 metres.

Stage 3: Tayma Hadaj Well – AlUla Old Town, 181.2km
The third stage will take riders from Tayma Hadaj Well, one of the biggest wells of Saudi Arabia, to AlUla Old Town.

Stage 4: Winter Park – Harrat Viewpoint, 149.3km
The most anticipated stage of the Saudi Tour to the Harrat Viewpoint offers riders the contrast of a pan flat road before the last 40 kilometres.

Stage 5: AlUla Old Town – AlUla Old Town, 138.9km
The final stage takes riders on a large circuit around AlUla Old Town. Cycling around the perimeter of the AlUla Oasis, this stage ends in the historic old city.

Each stage of the event will be live-streamed through AlUla Moment’s YouTube channel, so even if you can’t make it, you’ll still be able to join in on the fun virtually.
