Opa opens a pop-up Greek restaurant for Riyadh Season

The new restaurant is going to be open until February

If you’re a fan of Greek food, we have some great news. Opa is one of Dubai’s most popular Greek food joints, and it is now bringing a little bit of the cheer over to our neck of the woods. Opa will be coming to Riyadh Oasis, one of Riyadh Season’s zones, until March.

Having first launched in late 2018 in the heart of Dubai, this place has remained on top of the Greek food scene there. This pop-up restaurant at Riyadh Oasis will be the brand’s fourth international restaurant, the first three being in Saint-Tropez, Bahrain and
Mumbai.

Opa Riyadh has a beautiful plethora of pink flowers decorating the ceiling and walls and beautiful blue curved doorways and windows that really bring the place together. The menu features great dishes from all over Greece.

You can have buttery kleftiko – a braised lamb shoulder, house salad, fresh fish dishes and traditional Hellenic pastries. Also on the menu is the baklava sundae, lobster orzo, and grilled baby chicken, with tzatziki, green olive powder and natural jus. There are plenty of veggie options available like the kataifi, a combination of feta cheese, harissa and roasted red peppers.

To tie your experience altogether, it also brings you dinner with a show. You’ll be seeing traditional Greek zorba dancing along with watching (and possibly doing it yourself), as you watch Greek plate-smashing. Opa wide, Riyadh.

Until March.Open daily 7pm-2am. Riyadh Oasis, instagram.com/opa_riyadh
