The UAE has updated entry procedures for those entering the country through its land borders from neighbouring countries.
Citizens or foreigners who are vaccinated with approved vaccines and booster doses must present a negative PCR test that does not exceed 14 days to enter land borders. They will also need to take a PCR test on the sixth day of entry if they stay for six consecutive days or more.
The decision was announced by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority. The decision applies to all GCC citizens or foreigners and will be effective from Tuesday November 23. It will also apply to anyone who lives in border areas and is repeatedly entering and leaving the UAE.
