It’s time to catch a wave at NEOM’s Sindalah Island in the Red Sea soon with hotels, beach clubs and many restaurants.
Sindalah Island is set to be one of the first openings of the larger NEOM in the Kingdom. The upcoming attraction is technically a series of islands and is primed to be the spot to visit the Red Sea. The Saudi Arabia giga-project development is anticipated to open in 2024 so get those beach vacations in your sights now.
Yes, you read that correctly. The giga-project will open the beach-life island in the next two years, and we’re expecting great things. It is NEOM after all.
The off-coast development will cover an area of approximately 840,000 square metres.

The new island will be home to around 40 restaurants, including nine casual eateries and nine fine-dining spots. Additionally, there will b be a yacht club and a beach club.
But that’s not all. Sindalah Island will also have three luxury resorts, with a mix of hotel rooms and serviced apartments. There will also be spa, 86 piers and over 50 luxury brands.
The project also aims to become a yachting with 75 offshore buoys and a variety of under-the-sea experiences such as snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving.
Sindalah also hopes to become a golfing destination by offering world-class experiences over a 5,920 metre course.
The aim is to welcome 2,400 people per day to NEOM’s Sindalah Island by 2028. Want in?
Similar to The LINE, Sindalah Island hopes to allow residents to travel everywhere they need within a five-minute walk. The island will have no roads and cars, but likely all the ambience.
