Flyadeal launches new routes between Riyadh and Cairo

Flyadeal will run two daily flights to and from Riyadh and Cairo

Want to take a trip to the land of the mummies, hieroglyphics, and pyramids? We have good news for you. Saudi’s low-cost Flyadeal airline is all set to launch its first set of direct flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Cairo International Airport. There will be two daily flights to and from Riyadh to Cairo.

Flyadeal is a budget-friendly airline owned by major Saudi airline Saudia and was founded in 2016. It began operations in 2017 mainly serving domestic flights within the Kingdom. It was a part of Saudia’s SV2020 Transformation Strategy to target domestic Hajj and Umrah pilgrims as well as domestic travellers from all over the Kingdom.

As of December 2021, Flyadeal has taken flights to and from Abha, Yanbu, Taif, Medina, Hail, Jizan, Tabuk, and so many more amazing local national destinations.

Ahmed Al-Brahim, the airline’s chief commercial and customer officer, said that the new routes are all part of supporting the grand Saudi Vision 2030 plans. So the addition of Cairo as a destination reflects the company’s strategy to connect the Kingdom with the world.

Cairo is the fourth international destination on the list of flights by Flyadeal, the first being Dubai, the second St.Athan (a village in Wales) and the third being Kuwait.

It is home to the infamous Sphinx, pyramids, and the longest river in Africa, Nile River. Pack your bags and set your agenda to have some historic fun at this major touristic destination.
