Riyadh Season is keeping K-pop fans happy. One of South Korea’s most popular female singers, Kim Chungha (best known as Chungha), is set to perform in the capital on January 14. The news follows the recent announcement that the K-pop group Stray Kids will also be coming to the kingdom.
Taking to Twitter, CEO of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh announced that Chungha would be coming to Riyadh Season next year. If you want to join the fun, tickets will be on sale on November 25.

Chungha is the first female K-pop singer to ever perform in Saudi Arabia, so this is big news for all the K-pop enthusiasts in the kingdom. She rose to fame in 2016 when she finished fourth on a girl group survival reality TV show called Produce 101, and was placed in a group called I.O.I.

Following the end of the girl group in 2017, Chungha went solo and released an album called Hands on Me, and is releasing a new single called Killing Me on November 29.
Riyadh Season previously welcomed the South Korean supergroup, BTS. The popular group were not only the first-ever Korean group to play in Saudi Arabia, but the first foreign artists to play a solo stadium show in Saudi Arabia. As part of their Speak Yourself tour, BTS performed a sold-out concert at King Fahad International Stadium.
So, Riyadh, it’s time to bop to some K-pop.
