Vroom, vroom. Can you hear those engines coming to life? The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023 is starting its motors for an accelerating time in Jeddah, and we can’t wait to smell that rubber burning on the racetrack (in a good way).

What is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023?

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix launched in 2021 in Jeddah as part of the Formula 1 calendar. The inaugural Jeddah event was the fifth full-night race included in the Formula 1 calendar.

When’s the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023 happening?

The third edition of the zooming event is racing in on Friday March 17 until Sunday March 19.

Where is it and what’s the track like?

The race is zooming to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The racetrack is a temporary street circuit covering 6.17 kilometres, and it has been named the fastest track on the F1 calendar. It also consists of 16 left turns and 11 rights turns amounting to 27 turns in total allowing drivers to accelerate at a speed of 252 km/h.

How much are Saudi Arabian Grand Prix tickets?

F1 Saudi Arabian GP tickets are available across nine tiers: General Admission tickets are from SAR85, STC Central Grandstand A are from SAR128, Central Grandstand B are from SAR128, Central Grandstand C are from SAR128, STC Central Grandstand D are from SAR128, Main Grandstand B are from SAR391, Main Grandstand A are from SAR545, Premium Hospitality are SAR13,800, and Paddock Club are SAR 28,030.

The event will include 20 expert motorsport drivers

What should I expect to see at the 2023 edition?

Well, if there’s one thing that’s a constant across all editions, it’s the speeding cars taking on those ambitious twists and turns in the road from 20 drivers dedicated to teams including Ferrari and Mercedes.

Along with the races, F1 event highlights are the live performances from local and international artists.

Formula 1 fans can also enjoy talks with motorsport experts. Additionally, certain ticket tiers such as the Premium Hospitality area offering fine-dining culinary experiences of Middle Eastern, French, Italian and Asian cuisine as well as customised race memorabilia and gifts. The 2023 edition will also have fan zones and promenade areas.

What concerts are happening?

American rapper Travis Scott has been confirmed. The “Goosebumps” rapper will taking to the stage in Saudi for the first time. Ahmed Saad, Afrojack and Calvin Harris are all coming. Charlie Puth will also take to the stage. Swedish House Mafia were the final headliner announced.

General admission and grandstand tickets give attendees access to the races and concerts.

How many fan zones are there?

The 2023 edition will have fan zones, each with activities such as driving simulators, e-karting, bumper cars, face painting, food stalls, and more.
