In the Eastern Province, you should be able to see the Blood Moon between 4.52pm and 4.54pm on Tuesday.
The Eastern Province or as it’s known locally, Sharqiyah, constitutes 11 governates. These include: Ahsa, Dhahran, Khobar, Qatif, Hafr al-Batin, Jubail, Khafji, Ra’s Tanura, Abqaiq, Na’iriyah and Qaryat al-Ulya.
The Saudi Arabia Blood Moon can be seen for nearly four minutes as the Earth passes directly between the moon and the sun.
NASA scientists claim that at the peak of the eclipse, the moon will be 390,653 kilometres away.
An eclipse can fully or partially block the sun’s light in some areas.
Wondering what a partial solar eclipse looks like? As the moon and sun are not completely aligned for a partial solar eclipse, the moon does not completely cover the sun.
This can give the sun a crescent shape.
In July, stargazers were lucky enough to see the largest supermoon of 2022.
