Put your most fashionable foot forward, as Saudi Arabia’s Fashion Commission has announced that Fashion Futures will take place at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh from December 10 to December 11. As Riyadh starts upping its fashion credentials, with cool concept stores and local Saudi designers, this is definitely one for every fashionista to have on their radar.
The two-day event will focus on sustainability, diversity, culture, innovation and entrepreneurship. The event will bring together global, regional, and local fashion designers. The aim? For creatives to share knowledge, ideas and expertise while looking stylish, of course.
Whether you work in the fashion industry or are just know your models and influencers, sign up for the digital events that are open to the public. The event will be both in-person and virtual, which means you can participate virtually from anywhere across the world.
Taking place in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, you can sign up for hands-on workshops, masterclasses and Q&A sessions with influential and inspiring figures from the fashion industry.
When Fashion Future launched in Riyadh in 2019, it was the country’s first-ever dedicated fashion event. This is the second time that the event is taking place, as it was postponed last year due to COVID-19.
Following the appointment of the CEO of the Fashion Commission, Burak Cakmak, the event became a hybrid event. During the launch, Fashion Future Lives: Moving Towards Sustainability, Diversity & Innovation, was broadcast live from Riyadh and New York City. So, who knows what exciting surprises are in store?
Want to attend? The digital offerings are free to the public, but you must register in advance.
