That’s right, the highly anticipated heavyweight title rematch is coming to Saudi Arabia. The Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk fight will happen on Saturday August 20 at the Jeddah Superdome.

The fight is the latest international sporting event to take place in the Kingdom so all eyes will likely be on Jeddah this summer. The Rage of the Red Sea fight comes three years after Clash on the Dunes battle which saw Joshua battle it out with Andy Ruiz Jr.

The Rage on the Red Sea fight also comes after Joshua was dethroned as the heavyweight champion by Usyk in September 2021 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Anthony Joshua is a two-time heavyweight champion while Oleksandr Usyk holds WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles. Who will be victorious this time?

The Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk fight is likely to have crowds raging for this much overdue match, and we can’t wait to see who takes the title.

The WWE in Saudi Arabia has signed a 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Elimination Chamber also took place at the Jeddah Superdome in February 2022.

The Jeddah Superdome is the largest freestanding dome in the world. Located on Al Madinah Road, the venue is 24,000 square metres with a height of 46 metres and a diameter of 210 metres.

Other events recently hosted at the Jeddah Superdome include Stan Lee’s SuperCon from Jeddah Season. It was the biggest Comic-Con thus far to be hosted at the dome.
