For the first time, Saudi Arabia has begun offering tourist visas, and you can now apply for a visit visa in person and digitally to gain an e-visa.
Citizens of 49 countries are eligible to register for the visa process, and you can register for yours by heading to www.visitsaudi.com.
Your visa is valid for one year, and allows for multiple re-entry, and individual trips are valid for up to 90 days at a time. For consulate-approved visas, you’ll also need to provide a return ticket, proof of employment and a bank statement along with an array of additional supporting information.
Whether you’re gaining a visa on arrival, or an e-visa, it will cost SAR440 (roughly Dhs430), plus VAT. A fee of SAR 100 (roughly Dhs98).
