Popeyes Saudi Arabia opens fourth restaurant in Riyadh

The Louisiana chicken franchise is the latest to expand in the Kingdom

Fried chicken fans rejoice. Popeyes’ Saudi Arabia operation is about to expand to new levels. The New Orleans-born fried chicken giant will be opening more outlets and moving into new parts of the country.

Popeyes’ are famous for their trending chicken sandwiches, chicken on the bone, and of course tenders too, marinated in their signature style, for 12 hours and with a blend of secret Louisiana spices.

David Shear, international president of Restaurant Brands International, the parent company of Popeyes, says, “Our agreement with Gulf Brand Fast Food Company is an exciting step in delivering on our commitment to serving our signature blend of spices, flavours and experience to more guests around the world.


“Saudi Arabia is an important market in our expansion plans for the MENA region, and we look forward to seeing chicken-lovers in Saudi Arabia getting their hands on Popeyes world-famous dishes, including our chicken sandwich, with the expansion of our footprint across the Kingdom.”
