You can stay in this mirrored treehouse in the middle of an English wood

The reflective construction in Devon disappears into its green surroundings

Want a hideaway so secret and secluded it’s basically invisible? Check out this brand new treehouse, which has just appeared in a woodland in Devon.

The Wonham Larch is a mirrored construction, perched on stilts in the tree canopy that has filled an abandoned quarry on the edge of Exmoor.

Its clever exterior reflects its green surroundings, meaning the treehouse simply blends in and takes nothing away from its rural setting.

The treehouse, which sleeps two and is baby- and dog-friendly, has huge windows, with mega views from the bed and the bathroom, so you can enjoy all that unspoilt greenery while you’re hidden away inside.

There’s also a balcony, complete with outdoor jacuzzi bath.

Inside you’ll find boardgames, a log burner and a kitchen stuffed full of local treats – if you ever tire of watching birds or shooting stars from your alfresco tub.

The Wonham Larch is £145 a night. Find out more here.
