We know that Jeddah has amazing hotels, from luxury chalets to boutique spots. These hospitality offerings have got a little bit more exciting, however, as Jeddah Edition will be opening next year and it will be located close to the new Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
What makes Edition properties unique, is that they reflect the culture and location where they are based. Expected to open in 2022 with 63 guestrooms, The Jeddah Edition will be situated in the new Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina and located on the edge of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
The lifestyle hotel will feature a signature restaurant, lounge bar, rooftop bar, penthouse terrace, spa, fitness centre, and an indoor and outdoor pool. The Jeddah Edition is managed by Marriott International, which is in the process of increasing its brand footprint across the kingdom.
Dr Rakan Al Harthy, managing director, Sela Sport Company, says, “We are honoured to sign an agreement with Marriott International. The Jeddah Edition will be perfectly located in the Jeddah Yacht Club and Marina, Jeddah’s most anticipated destination and will be part of the city’s vibrant celebrations and events during Jeddah Season.”
Edition hotels are located across the world in locations including New York City and London. Doha Edition is also currently under development, and it will be located in the central business district, West Bay.
The brand labels itself as an anti-chain hotel, as it’s not about creating cookie-cutter hotels. Given its refreshing take on hospitality, we look forward to seeing how it creates an individualised hotel in the heart of Jeddah.
