The most famous hotel in the capital of Saudi Arabia, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh is massive and super-swish. All 492 rooms and suites at The Ritz-Carlton boast super views of Riyadh or the hotel grounds.

There are a range of rooms depending on what you’re after, starting at club, superior and deluxe rooms and ranging up to excutive suites with fountain views or the palatial 4,575 sq ft royal suite, which has two bedrooms, a personal office and a dining room for 14 people.
With 600-year-old olive trees in the grounds, as well as landscaped gardens and lush greenery, The Ritz-Carlton promises an escape from the city and it’s delightful to take a stroll around.

There’s a stunning indoor pool that offers garden views from its floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as a gentlemen’s-only spa and there’s also a gym.

You can stop for a bite to eat at Al Orjouan for international cuisine, Azzurro for modern Italian or Hong for modern Chinese. There’s also a dessert lounge, cigar bar and an afternoon tea lounge.
